The 48th Fighter Wing Flagship F-15E Strike Eagle, along with other representative aircraft types of the elite Liberty Wing operating out of RAF Lakenheath, the F-15C Eagle and HH-60G Combat Search and Rescue helicopter, fly over a local landmark, the ancient Ely Cathedral. The painting was commissioned for and recently presented to the Liberty Wing Commander Brig Gen John Hesterman.
